Everybody knows that when Amitabh came to Kolkata and try to All India Radio, He was rejected due his voice because that time AIR thought The Voice was not good for Narrating. Amitabh was so disappointad but he never change his style and pitch.
Later he got a offer from Reknowned Bengali Director Mrinal Sen for Narrating his film Bhubon Shome. Bhubon Shome was a National Ward Win FIlm. Amitabh did super job and established himself as a Voice Artist.
Then he went Bombay to test his luck and tried to enter in Hindi Cinema. Saat Hindustani was his debut film under direction of Manoj Kumar. Then Salim-Javed wrote Zanzeer. Dev Anand was the first choice for Zanzeer but he refused to do that and Amitabh got the role and rest his history. India got their Angry Hero who ruled Bollywood till now.
Amitabh was the First Choice of Satyajit Ray as a Narrator of Satranj Ke Khiladi
Satyajit ray was also impressed by Amitabh Bachchan. He didn't cast Amitabh for his any film but when he need a Narrator for his Satranj Ke Khiladi, First Choice was Amitabh Bachchan.
