Paran Bandopadhyay was born on 18th October 1940 in Jessore Bangladesh (Then India). His Mother was died in his childhood and father left the family. The Talented Actor Paran Bandopadhyay was brought up in his paternal house in Dumdum, Kolkata.
Paran Bandopadhay started his carrer as a Theatre Artist with Indian People's Theatre Association. Later he got chance in Janmabhoomi Serial. It was the First Mega Serial in Bengali Television Industry. He did many serial and theatre at that time.
Paran Bandopadhyay got his Govt Job in PWD in 1962. In 2000 he retired and gave his full focus on Televission and Film. He got offer from Gautam Ghosh in Dekha in 2001.
Paran Bandopadhyay is a regular judge in most popular reality show in Bengali Film Industry Mirrakel in Zee Bangla. The Show gave him maximum popularity in all over the bengal.
